Representatives of UEEX made presentation concerning “Organizing of the exchange oil products market in Ukraine”

Executive Director and other specialists of Ukrainian Energy Exchange made a presentation on topic "Organizing of the exchange oil market in Ukraine" at the "Fuel and Energy" committee meeting at European Business Association. The presentation was attended by major oil products market representatives, including: TNK-BP, BNK Ukraine, Galnaftogas and others. The basic principles of exchange oil products trading in the world and its prospects for Ukraine were discussed during the presentation. Detailed algorithm of oil products trading was presented. The participants were particularly interested in oil trading through e-trading system. The long and fruitful discussion of the merits of exchange market trading principles was organized after presentations. Also the main principles based on which exchange trading of oil products in Ukraine and creating a reliable system of guarantees of fulfillment of obligations would be built were discussed. The further cooperation between UEEX and market participants was agreed on in the result of the presentation. The establishing of working groups for launching trading in oil products through UEEX under individual work with market participants has already begun.
